Here’s the official blurb:

Lyra Fenwick has always kept her distance from the idea of a mate.

Arginon Porter has waited his whole life for his.

When fate pulls them together at Kensington Academy, Lyra goes to extreme lengths to hide their bond. But as their friendship deepens, so does the undeniable connection between them.

With rival packs on the brink of war—and a darker threat rising in the shadows—Lyra and Arginon must decide if love alone can save them… or if the past will destroy everything they’re fighting for.

Here’s a little piece of what’s inside:

A sharp yelp jolts me out of my thoughts.

I whip my head toward the sound. A girl with long black hair and deep red eyes stumbles, hitting the mat.

Arginon is instantly there, helping her up. His hand rests on her back, his fingers grazing her arm, his voice softer than I’ve ever heard it.

What the–

He’s too close. Too gentle. Too concerned. She fell on the mat, not the concrete floor!

“Lyra?” Dylan grabs my arm.

I blink. Oh, right. Fighting.

“Yeah. Sorry.” We go again, but my attention refuses to stay on my own match. Arginon’s still fussing over her. His hand lingers on her shoulder, his brows furrowed with concern and his voice low and reassuring.

He has no right to be that gentle.

I see red. My fists clench. My jaw tightens as Vesper growls in my head. The words come out before I can stop them–sharp, biting and loud enough to make him freeze.

“Cool off, Silver.”

Silence.

Arginon stills. His head snaps toward me, eyes locking on mine. The girl beside him tilts her head.

I stiffen. Shit. What did I say?

“Excuse me?” Arginon’s voice is eerily calm.

I scramble to backpedal. “You’re always playing knight in shining armor. The silver. The armor. Stop being so damn guard-like and cool off.”

“What…?” His lips twitch. No. No, he cannot find this amusing. “You jealous, Moonlight?”

I scoff, heat crawling up my neck. “As if.”

Arginon hums, tilting his head. “Silver, I like it.” No, no he does not. It was meant as an insult, not a badge of honor.

Lyra and Arginon’s story starts here—but it’s only the beginning.

Until next time,
